The room was cool & incredible with balcony. Central heating and multi-channel TV were a huge plus. The hotel had a perfect position, location-close by to a bus stop.

Hotel Alpina in Kandersteg is the perfect place to start your exploration of the area. the staff is friendly and ready to help. the hotel is kept extremely clean, including the room, which had a fantastic view and a balcony that the kids adored. the breakfast was satisfying, with a variety of cheese, ham, and juices. the location is unbeatable, near all the great hikes, and gives a real sense of being at home. the check-in process is hassle-free, making it easy to start your vacation right away. Just a 10-minute walk to Alpine Centre Kandersteg.

The location was ideal and nice, close enough to the cable cars and the center of Kandersteg. The rooms were comfy and mine was perfect with a balcony, a private bathroom, a very high bed. The staff was really helpful and accommodating. The breakfast with juices, fresh ground coffee, and soft-boiled eggs to perfection was good, you’ll find what you need.

The staff were amicable and amazingly great and the location was unbeatable by snow capped mountain.

I had a wonderful stay at a reasonably priced hotel in a convenient location. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The hotel had great views and impressive water pressure in the showers. I highly recommend this hotel for its value and great service.

Charming brand-new hotel with friendly staff. A perfect location with mountain view, close enough to the hikes around, food shop and a bus stop. Also, close to the train station.

The rooms at Hotel Alpina in Kandersteg are spotlessly clean and absolutely perfect, equipped with a shower and a hairdryer. the hotel's location is magnificent, nestled next to Switzerland, making it feel like a real home away from home. There are also many restaurants and bars nearby for convenience.

our stay in kandersteg was lovely, but our recent stay at alpina was even better. the clean, older-style room was cozy, with comfortable beds and a small yet perfect shower/toilet. we adored the balcony with its beautiful views. the breakfast was outstanding, with fresh muesli, croissants, and an array of spreads. the unlimited cablecar tickets were just icing on the cake. we absolutely loved it!

Hotel Alpina:

There was nothing I didn't like.

We did not want to leave and will be back, loved the hotel. Everything was perfect, including amiable and supper friendly stuff. The breakfasts were satisfactory with fresh ground coffee, cheese and also fried eggs, couldn’t ask for anything better. The location of this venue just off the train station and restaurants and bars in town was absolutely perfect.

Real good stay, as always. Wonderful and bright hotel, my favorite in Kandersteg. Very impressed with economy double room. Outstanding and appetising food.
